AEGIS (Meetinghouse) Client for PocketPC
Download AEGIS Client
Because of licensing restrictions, you'll be connected to a secure sever once you click on the "download" link below. You'll be required to enter your OSU Internet username and password to connect to this server.
Install AEGIS Client
After downloading the AEGIS Client file, you can proceed with installation.
- First save your work and exit from any other programs
you may have running.
- Choose Run in the Start menu.
- Click on the Browse button in the "Run" dialog
box.
- Locate the directory where you downloaded the file
and click on aegisppc2_14.exe.
- You're asked to select a destination drive where the
unzipped files will be placed. It's recommended you choose an empty, temporary
directory.
- Two files are now extracted. When this is done, use
the same procedure as above to locate and start the Aegis Client install
program, AEGIS-2_1_4_0.msi.
- After the setup program prepares the InstallShield
Wizard to lead you through the rest of the steps, click on the Next> button
to continue.
- Read the License Agreement when it appears. If you
agree to the terms, click on Yes, I accept...,
and then click on the Next> button.
- When asked, most users will choose a Complete installation.
- Refer to the "Aegis PPC Setup Guide" below
for information on License ID and License Key required for installation.
- Click on Install to
complete the installation.
- At the end of the installation, you will need to restart
your PPC.
- It will now be necessary to complete your configuration
values. The process necessary to complete your configuration is contained
in "Aegis PPC Setup Guide", which is the second extracted file,
above.
- Also be aware each wireless interface card has its own configuration. Instructions for setting up your card are available at http://www.osuweb.net/wireless.
