Because of licensing restrictions, you'll be connected to a secure sever once you click the download link below. You'll be required to enter your OSU Internet username and password to connect to this server.
Install Cisco VPN Client
Note: As you're downloading the install file, the type of information that appears on your screen varies depending on the browser you're using.
- When the install file has finished downloading
and uncompressing, you will have a file called vpnclient-macosx-4.9.01.0100.dmg. If
necessary, double-click this file to uncompress it and to produce the
CiscoVPNClient volume.
- Double-click CiscoVPNClient to open the
disk image. Double-click the Cisco VPN Client.mpkg icon
in the window that appears.
- An authorization screen may appear at this
point. If it does, click the lock icon, and enter
your administrator name and password and click OK.
- A "Welcome" screen appears; click Continue.
- The license agreement is displayed which you can print
if you like. click Continue and then
click Agree to proceed with the installation;
otherwise click Disagree to end the
installation.
- Choose the desired destination volume from the next
screen that appears, and click Continue.
- The next screen allows you to choose an installation
option. To choose Easy Install, click Install or on Upgrade (if
you have a previous version of the software). If you want to choose
the components to install, click the Customize button.
click the Install button to proceed.
Note: You may be prompted for your Administrator's password at this point. If so, enter it to continue.
- The installation now begins and proceeds to conclusion. When finished, click the Close button.

Configure Cisco VPN client
Launch the Cisco VPN client. Click to highlight the OSUnet Connection entry, and click the Connect icon. You will be required to enter your OSU Internet username and password to complete the VPN connection.
