Install NetShield

  1. After the download is finished, you need to uncompress the setup file.

  2. Locate the subdirectory where you downloaded the NetShield software and then double-click on the file nsh463.exe to begin extracting the files.

  3. When prompted for an "extract to" directory, use an empty temporary directory on your hard drive.

  4. If you already have a version of NetShield installed, do not extract the setup file into your NetShield directory; doing so could damage your existing installation.

  5. Important: It's strongly recommended that you read the "Readme.txt" file available after files are extracted. It contains important information about steps you need to complete before beginning the installation.

  6. When you're ready to install NetShield, first locate and select the file setup.exe and then follow the on-screen instructions

Please consult the "NetShield for NetWare Installation Guide" for complete installation instructions. View or download a copy of the NetShield installation guide in Adobe Acrobat format.
