Because of licensing restrictions, you'll be connected to a secure sever once you click on the "download" link below. You'll be required to enter your OSU Internet username and password to connect to this server.
Install SSH Secure Shell
Note: As you're downloading the install file, the type of information that appears on your screen varies depending on the browser you're using.
- After downloading the SSH Secure Shell file, you're
ready to run the install program.
- First save your work and exit from any other programs
you may have running.
- Choose Run in the Start menu.
- Click on the Browse button
in the "Run" dialog box.
- Locate the directory where you downloaded the file
and click on sshwin3_29.exe. Click on Open and
then click on OK to begin the setup.
- After the setup program prepares the Install Shield
Wizard to lead you through the rest of the steps, click on the Next> button
to continue.
- The install now begins; follow the onscreen directions to complete the install.
