Install TN3270
Note: As you're downloading the install file, the type of information that appears on your screen varies depending on the browser you're using.
- When the install file has finished downloading and
uncompressing, you're ready to start the setup program.
- Open the folder where you downloaded the install file.
Double-click on the expanded disk image file tn3270_X_3.2.4.dmg to
mount it. This will produce a volume called tn3270
X 3.2.4. Double-click on the volume to open it and then drag tn3270 to
the desired folder.
Note: Alternatively, you can hold down the Option key and drag the entire volume to your target folder to create a folder with the set of distribution files.
- After this is completed, you can start tn3270 X directly from your install folder.
New configuration information: With the advent of secure connections to ohstmvsb.us.ohio-state.edu, users must configure their session as follows for this connection: port 992, SSL and under SSL options, choose SSL-3. These are set for a session via the connection screen under "Special".
