Install TurningPoint
- When the install file has finished downloading and uncompressing,
you're ready to start the setup program.
- Open the folder where you downloaded the installer and then
open the TurningPoint folder. Note: If the file did not
automatically unstuff, double-click on the tpoint2008.hqx icon
to extract the folder. You may need to do this again to uncompress the
.zip file and possibly also a .tar file.
- Double-click on TurningPoint.dmg. A finder window opens
containing the TurningPoint installer.
- Double-click the installer icon; click Continue to allow the installer to run.
- When prompted for a destination, check to see the proper location is
selected, and click on Continue. (Unless otherwise instructed
by your IT Department, leave the Applications folder selected.)
- Click Install to continue.
- Enter your administrator username (if necessary) and password when prompted.
- Click Close when the install is complete.
To start the program, go to your Applications folder (or the destination where you chose to install TurningPoint) and double-click its icon. Upon launch, the program will open Microsoft PowerPoint.
Note: The download folder also contains a text file with install notes and licensing information.
